Ed Royer has been practicing law in the Tampa Bay area since 2005. His practices areas encompass various disciplines including family law, foreclosure defense, bankruptcy, collection defense, Wills ad Estates and Corporate Law. Ed has assisted hundreds of clients both businesses and individuals throughout the state of Florida.
Ed Royer graduated from Houston College of Law in 2005. In Law School, Ed received Honors recognition and was awarded scholarships related to exemplary research and writing and trained with an emphasis on courtroom preparation and litigation. While in Texas, Ed worked for the Texas Attorney General in the Consumer Protection Division where he assisted consumers in obtaining millions of dollars due to deceptive trade practices and help correct the bad acts of notorious violators of consumer protection laws. While in public service at the Texas Attorney General, Ed also helped to create and implement a training program used to train newly hired employees and attorneys in the Consumer Protection Division.
In Florida, Ed has practiced in a wide variety of areas as an associate attorney and then as a partner at a larger firm. Ed has appeared in court hundreds of times and tried many trials. His focus on protecting consumers and clients has been something that has guided him through his legal career. Ed created Royer Law with an eye to the client as he wanted to provide that personal touch that often isn’t afforded at a larger institution. Client focus and satisfaction is the number one goal at Royer Law and at Royer Law we strive to identify and evaluate every client’s specific goals and work towards those goals. Ed is also a successful Realtor who assist clients in buying and selling properties and dealing with short-sales. Ed also serves as a member of the Board of Directors for a National Non-Profit and is corporate counsel to several local and national companies.
